Job Title: Medical Assistant

Locations: Bethpage, Bay Shore, West Islip, Patchogue, Great Neck, East Hills, Rockville Centre, Smithtown, Centereach

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistants to join our healthcare team across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential clinical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our medical facilities. Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.

  • Record patient history, vital signs, and medical information accurately.

  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked.

  • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.

  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.

  • Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records.

  • Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive healthcare.

  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.

  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
