Job description

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. This role will be primarily aligned with one provider while also offering support to others as needed. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who can seamlessly integrate into the team with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and administrative support to the provider, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
  • Assist with patient visits, including rooming, examinations, point-of-care testing, immunizations, minor procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain a balanced workload of 50% clinical and 50% administrative duties.
  • Support patient panel management by handling phone calls, test results, prescription refills, and care coordination.
  • Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 15 patients per day (PPD), with about 50% requiring blood draws or injections.
  • Ensure patient care areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
  • Provide compassionate, professional interactions with patients and their families, addressing their needs with efficiency and care.
