Job description

Medical Assistant - Women's Health (SW Portland, OR)

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support a high-quality women's health practice in SW Portland. This role involves both patient care and administrative duties within the provider's scope of practice.

Position Details:

  • Setting: Women's Health
  • Patient Volume: 20-25 patients per day
  • Location: SW Portland, OR
  • Team Structure: 1:1 ratio with provider
  • Start Date: ASAP (pending background check, health screen, and drug screen)
  • Schedule: 4x10 shifts (day off depends on provider assignment)
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
  • Parking: Free onsite

Training & Onboarding:

  • Week 1: Training at the admin office in Tigard, OR
  • Weeks 2-3: Paired with a preceptor for hands-on learning and a structured checklist

Compensation & Growth:

  • Level 1 (Uncertified): $21 - $29/hr
  • Level 2 (Certified MA - AAMA, NCCT, or AMT): $22.25 - $31.80/hr
  • Growth Pathway: Opportunity to advance from Level 1-3 with pay increases

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program
  • CPR Certification
  • Level 2 requires CMA (AAMA, NCCT, or AMT)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with EPIC EMR
  • Prior OB/GYN experience
