Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and team-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) or Registered Medical Assistant (MA-R) to join our Family Medicine/Internal Medicine practice at Madison Center in Seattle. In this role, you will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, administering immunizations, performing EKGs, processing referrals, managing the in-basket, and supporting the overall clinic operations. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and collaboration skills is essential for success.

Responsibilities:

• Rooming/ Taking Vitals: Efficiently room patients for appointments and take accurate vital signs to prepare them for their visits.
• Immunizations: Administer immunizations as needed and ensure accurate documentation in the patient's record.
• EKGs: Perform EKGs as required for patient assessments.
• Referrals: Assist in processing patient referrals and obtaining prior authorizations for necessary services.
• In-Basket Management: Manage and prioritize the MA in-basket to ensure efficient communication, follow-up, and timely resolution of patient needs.
• Patient Care Support: Provide excellent patient care by maintaining a positive, flexible, and patient-centered approach.
• Clinic Operations: Assist with the smooth daily operations of the clinic, ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available and supporting patient flow.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with physicians, providers, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and smooth clinic operations.

Requirements:

• MA-C or MA-R certification
• 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA-C), or 3-5 years of experience as an MA-R in a similar setting.
• Strong time management and attendance record.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system is required.

Shift Times:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Pay:

$24-29 an hour (Depending on experience)
