Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dynamic, high-volume clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and assisting our providers in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain attention to detail, and be flexible in supporting multiple providers.

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Rooming patients, taking full set of vitals, blood pressure, injections, ekgs, immunizations (vaccines), POC testing (INR checks, drug screens, preg tests, etc), medication reconciliation, medical history, submitting all information into EPIC, flipping rooms, stocking rooms, assisting in minor procedures and assisting on set up/tear down for those minor procedures (toe nail removal, sutures, etc)
• Will not be assigned a specific Provider, must be okay with rotating and working with different Providers
• Can expect to room about 20-22 patients/day
• Inbound/Outbound calls: Following up on test results, medication refills, etc. Can expect about 10 calls/shift
• Will be working in EPIC- Scheduling, answering patient questions, sending messages to Providers
• Can expect about 80% DPC, 20% admin duties

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• MA Diploma or Certification
• BLS
• Blend of speciality and primary care experience

Nice to have skills:

• Bilingual Spanish
• EPIC
• Peds experience

Schedule/ Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
