Job description

Hiring Monday- Thursday Medical Assistants to join our Cardiolgy Practice!

Location: Feasterville-Trevose, PA
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Optional Friday hours available)

We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to become a vital part of our cardiology practice. If you're passionate about making a difference in patient care and have a background in cardiology, we want you to join our team!

What You'll Do:

  • Patient Care: Greet and check in patients, ensuring they are prepared and comfortable for their visit.
  • Vitals & History: Measure vital signs and take brief medical histories to support our cardiology team.
  • EKGs & Cardiac Monitoring: Perform EKGs and assist with hooking up and unhooking cardiac monitors during and after procedures.
  • Authorization Support: Help obtain authorizations for studies (training provided) to ensure smooth care delivery.
  • Scheduling & Referrals: Manage patient appointments and facilitate the referral process for specialized care.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify insurance information for patients (training provided) to ensure a seamless billing process.
  • Requisition Sheets: Complete and manage requisition sheets for various tests and procedures.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Cardiology Experience - You're familiar with the specific demands and care protocols in a cardiology setting.
  • EKG & Stress Test Experience - You have hands-on experience performing EKGs and stress tests.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of MA experince preferred
