Job description

Job Overview:

  • The Medical Assistant will be supporting a busy Urgent Care clinic in Columbia, MD
  • Pay: 18.00/hr - 22.00/hr
  • Shift:
    • Mon-Thurs - 745am-4:30pm
    • Fri: 11:30am-8pm/close
    • 4th Sunday of the month: 11:30-8

Job Requirements:

  • Must have CMA (must me active) as well as graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Must have CPR Certification
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred
  • Venipuncture experience
  • This position is fully in person

Job Description:

  • Responsible for assisting physicians and nursing staff with patient care.

  • Responsible for chart management and patient flow.
  • Responsible for blood draws, triaging, and rooming patients
  • Performs delegated medical tasks and may perform clerical duties.
  • Where the electronic system is in use, this position will utilize the system as documented in the department and/or standard operating procedure and process; and other duties as assigned.
