Job description

Job Posting: Medical Assistant

Location: Norwich, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
  • Collect and record patient histories and vital signs.
  • Perform laboratory tests and manage specimen collection.
  • Schedule appointments and follow-up visits.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
