Job description

Our Hemophilia Treatment Center in Seattle assists patients to prevent blood clots with medication management and related care. Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager, the MA/ASC will assist in the care and services of patients across the continuum of illnesses; promote and monitor effective utilization of health care resources; and assume an assistive role with the multi-disciplinary care team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Time will be divided between coverage of front desk and clinic duties. The MA/ASC shall provide team centered care in a collaborative setting in accordance with the standards and regulations of a Hemophilia Treatment Center.

  • Medication / Allergy Reconciliation
  • Telemedicine Consent
  • Updating Emergency Contacts
  • Clear Communication w/ Patients
  • Coordinate Visits
  • Laundry
  • Records Requests

Requirements:

  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C)
  • Maintain BLS for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience
  • CPR Experience / Certification
  • EHR Experience
