Job description
HIRING FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT ROLE IN YONKERS
Specific Duties:
- Room patients, take vitals, conduct tests (vision, hearing, labs), and document data in eCW, including lab results and patient status. Complete CVRs as needed
- Perform in-house labs, equipment maintenance, and quality control per protocols.
- Draw blood, collect specimens, and process as directed.
- Conduct routine tests (serology, hematology, etc.) and collect specimens for external labs.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist during patient exams.
- Clean and sterilize equipment per policy.
- Handle clerical tasks, phone inquiries, and communicate with nurses
- Maintain lab logs and perform EKGs.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Requirements:
- 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
- Medical Assistant Diploma / Certification
