Medical Assistant

We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant for our transformative health and wellness center.

Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Norton, VA
Type: Full-Time M-F 8-4:30
Pay Rate: $17-18/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments and manage calls.
• Perform vitals, urine drug screens, and assist in evaluations.
• Handle patient check-ins/outs and medication coordination.
• Input patient info into electronic health records.
• Manage financial summaries and insurance prior-authorizations.
• Educate patients on medication and resources.

Requirements:

• Accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• phlebotomy and injection experience
