Medical Assistant
Job description
Role:
- Learning different job duties, working with different teammates
- Job duties will vary day to day: Medical records, ordering tests, rooming patients (medical history, medication reconciliation, vitals), sending procedure paperwork, assist with transporting patients, stocking/flipping exam rooms, etc.
- Will responsible for charting, they use AllScripts & Athena
- Phone duties may include: Confirming of patient appointments, providing communication from the Doctor to the patients, calling on radiology testing, etc. --> Can expect 20-25 calls/day
- MA certification/diploma is not required but definitely preferred, looking for someone who has exposure to EMRs/medical office duties
Schedule:
- M-F, 8AM-430PM or 730AM-4PM
Rates:
- Pay: $16.00 - $19.00
Dress Code:
- Scrubs, any color
