Position: Medical Assistant
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Pay: $17-21 per hourdepending on expereince

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing essential care and administrative support in the field of oncology and hematology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.
  • Vital Data Collection: Accurately record patient data, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes, to ensure precise and effective treatment.
  • Preparation and Support: Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms, assist physicians with exams and procedures, and administer injections as delegated.
  • Communication: Answer patient calls, provide referrals, phone in prescriptions, and keep physicians informed of patient schedules.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations.
