Medical Assistant

We are hiring for a Medical Assistant for a clinic in the Alton, IL (62002) area!

Overview

• will train first on front office and then move to back office - they do a lot of multitasking in both front and back office work
• return all patient calls within 24 hrs
• utilize Peake phone system
• add patient history to EMR
• file and scan ppw in 48 hours
• obtain pre auths for CT, MRI
• assist provider with stable removal, casting, wound care, etc
• take x rays and CT scans (trained on this, do not need prior exp)
• DME casting
• facilitate comm between patient and physician

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant diploma preferred
• Ability to multi task
• Reliability is huge
• Need to have the desire to do well and try hard

Pay: $20-$22/hr

Hours: M-F within the 8a-5p timeframe
