Duties include

• Will be doing about 80% DPC, 20% administrative duties
• Chart prep, rooming patients, vitals, med history, x-rays, castings (on and off)
• Will be trained on custom casting for molding of braces, wound care, sutures & staples, changing of wound dressings, will be trained on diabetic shoeing, assist with x rays
• Setting up rooms for minor procedures, etc.
• Assisting with minor procedures such as ingrown nails, wart removals, etc.
• Can expect to room 10-20 patients/day
• Administrative duties will include charting, putting in orders, requesting medical records, prior authorizations, etc.
• The front office deals w/ most of the calls, but this office does share the phone line if you are free to answer, can expect maybe 0-5 calls/shift

Schedule:

• Mon: 730AM - 6PM
• Tues: 730AM - 530PM
• Weds: 8AM - Noon
• Thurs: 730AM-4PM
• Fri: 7 - 4PM

Rates:

• Pay: $17.00 - $19.00

Dress code:

• Scrubs
• Any color/pattern, just needs to be appropriate
• Close toed shoes

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• 6 months of MA experience
• EMR experience
• Rooming patients

Nice to Have Skills:

• MA certification/diploma
