Job description

Are you still currently in the job market for a full time role? We are hiring Medical Assistants for a healthcare organization in Fairfax, VA!

Job Information:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (No nights or weekends)

  • Greeting and rooming patients, preparing them to be seen by the physician or physician assistant
  • Assisting the physician/physician assistant with patient care
  • Setting up procedure trays
  • Handing off appropriate instruments and/or material during a procedure
  • Instrument/syringe counts pre and post procedure
  • Monitoring patients throughout treatment
  • Maintain a sterile field throughout treatment
  • Collecting and processing specimen
  • Providing patient education
  • Performing tasks within parameters of the practice via federal and state training safety regulations
  • Scribing information into EHR
  • Contacting patients and pharmacies
  • Cleaning and stocking examination rooms
  • Sterilizing instruments
  • Completion of necessary patient related documents
  • Answering of phones and scheduling appointments
  • Miscellaneous position related duties as assigned
