Busy Urgent Care is now hiring for a MA-C, Medical Assistant to join the team.

Stepping into this position the person needs to be prepared to see a variety of injuries / ailments. The Northgate location doesn't see a ton of lacerations and more commonly sees acute injuries, chest pains, strokes, ect.

The primary function of this position will be rooming patients, taking vitals, preparing examination rooms and helping manage the in basket of the provider they are paired with (this clinic typical tries to pair medical assistants in a 1:1 relationship with providers but this is dependent on staffing levels. There is a lab on site and medical assistants are occasionally asked to run through own labs this would included point-of-care testing and blood draws.

Scheduling:

There is flexibility in scheduling - the hours of operations are the following:

• Weekday (M-F) 7:15a-8p
• Weekend (Sat-Sun) 7:45a-5:30p

This clinic is open to full time or part time candidates - They currently need coverage everyday. Candidates must be able to work a full given shift however.

Pay: $22-31/hr
