Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm

Overview:

Checking and returning patient voicemails
Triaging phone calls and sending to NPs
Working through Athena inbox buckets and provider buckets
Refilling patient prescriptions
Providing Flu Shots
Drawing blood and processing blood
Working with 20 patients a day
Setting up picc lines for patients and pulling picc lines
Rooming patients
Checking vital signs
Reconciling charts
Reconciling charts and documenting patient history
Unwrapping and re-wrapping wound dressing
- They do not work on complex injuries
Prior Authorizations
Will be cross trained on Front Desk
Uploading hospital notes into chart
What does this person do on a slow day/busy day?
- Slow day; 10 patients total
  - This may sound slow but their patients are more complex so this is still a busy day. Numerous items may come from an appointment vs just rooming/vital check
- Busy day; 35 patients total
10-15 minutes per appointment (if it is just rooming)
- Indirect time working on documentation can take upwards of 30 minutes
