Job description

Location: Monroeville, PA 15146

Responsibilities: As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our practice, working with patients who have various urologic diagnoses. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting doctors with patient exams and procedures.
  • Patient scheduling and chart preparation.
  • Quick learning and collaboration with other Medical Assistants, Physician Assistants, and Physicians.
  • Occasional travel within a 15-mile radius may be required.
  • Rooming patients and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.).
  • Conducting urinalysis and demonstrating laboratory skills.
  • Setting up rooms for clinical procedures with sterile field technique and proper instrument handling.
  • Assisting physicians during clinical procedures/exams.
  • Administering medications.
  • Ensuring thorough cleaning and sterilization/disinfection of instruments.
  • Stocking and maintaining cleanliness in clinical areas.
  • Scheduling appointments and prepping charts.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
