We are currently hiring for a Part- Time Medical Assistant for Cardiology Practice in Trevose, PA!

Location: Trevose, PA

Position: Part-Time Medical Assistant

Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our cardiology practice located in Trevose, PA. This role involves assisting in various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients upon arrival
- Measure vital signs and document patient histories
- Obtain authorizations for medical studies (training provided)
- Perform EKGs and assist with cardiac monitors hook-up and removal
- Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars
- Coordinate referrals and ensure necessary paperwork is completed
- Verify insurance coverage (training available if needed)

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required
- Proficiency in basic medical procedures and equipment operation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation:
- Pay rate: $18 - $22 per hour, commensurate with experience
