Medix has an opening for a professional Medical Assistant!
This position is working closely with one of top rated Hospitals in the LA area. It is a Contract-To-Hire position - this is a great way to get your foot in the door with one of the premiere health organizations in LA!
This opportunity will be in fast paced environment, so experienced candidates are required. Medix is looking for someone with at least two years of experience in either a family practice or internal medicine.
We are looking at getting candidates started for this position immediately!
Candidates for this Medical Assistant position must be able to perform the following tasks:
- Room patients
- Maintain sterile environments
- Take vitals and patient history
- Assist in office procedures
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Multi-task in a fast paced environment

Requirements
- At least two years in a hospital or clinical environment
- Experience in family practice or internal medicine
- Daily routine is rooming patients, taking vital signs, scheduling appointments, assisting in surgeries, and handling prescription refills and medications
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
