Irvine, CA 92618

Pay: $25-27/HR, based on experience

Shift: M-F, 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing or controlled environment, preferably in medical device production or human tissue assembly.
  • 2 years of experience in work order creation and material issuing.
  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of comfort working with numbers and MRP systems.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain effective inventory management by properly labeling all inventory with required information and storing it in designated cleanroom locations.
  • Utilize Kanban to manage material inventory levels efficiently.
  • Establish a standardized inventory management system across multiple locations.
  • Generate Work Order jobs in Oracle for the manufacturing line based on the Planning department's weekly production schedule.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using detailed analysis techniques.
  • Submit purchase requisitions for production spare parts and tooling as needed.
  • Conduct routine inventory counts-including cycle counts, stock level assessments, and physical counts-to maintain accurate inventory levels, fulfill material requisitions, and process necessary ERP transactions.
  • Oversee the release of supplies from the Warehouse to the cleanroom.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities effectively.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure adherence to production procedures and safety protocols.
