Mammography Technologist

Assignment Details:

• Expected Duration: 560 hours with opportunity to be hired permanently after satisfactory completion of hours

Position Summary:

The Mammography Technologist will perform a full scope of screening and diagnostic breast imaging services, including stereotactic biopsies and Savi Scout placements. This role involves working directly with radiologists and breast sonographers to ensure timely, safe, and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform screening and diagnostic mammography
2. Conduct stereotactic breast biopsies
3. Assist with Savi Scout localization procedures
4. Deliver high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner
5. Collaborate with radiologists and sonographers for optimal imaging outcomes
6. Document findings and workflows using Epic and PACS systems
   
   

Required Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification
• Valid CPR certification
• Proficiency in both screening and diagnostic mammography

• Strong commitment to quality patient care
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Epic and PACS systems

• Previous experience performing Savi Scout procedures and stereotactic biopsies
