Job description

HIRING FOR MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN

*Part time for Mammography Tech*

*Potential for Full Time for Multiple Modalities*

Specific Duties:

  • Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality breast images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Position patients and equipment correctly to capture the best images.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on equipment.
  • Stay current with continuing education and training in mammographic techniques and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with advanced certification in Mammography (M).
  • 1+ year of experience
  • Multiple modalities (preferred but not required)
