Pay: $24-28/HR, based on experience

Hours: M-F, 1st Shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong mathematical and reading skills.
• Ability to work independently from engineering drawings and vendor technical manuals.
• Capable of clearly communicating personal design specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience in:
• Plumbing and pipe fitting
• Carpentry
• Welding and fabrication
• Masonry and concrete work
• Roofing
• Fastening techniques
• Proficient in the proper use and maintenance of related tools.
• Basic computer skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair and upkeep of building facilities and surrounding grounds.
• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install machinery and mechanical equipment, including steam boilers, oil heaters, blowers, pumps, compressors, gas heaters, air conditioning units, reactors, and other equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure all systems are fully operational, and replace parts as needed.
• Oversee plant utilities such as gas, water, and drainage systems. Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems, and repair or replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components. Assist with electrical equipment maintenance as required.
• Maintain records of installations, maintenance histories, and related documentation for all plant equipment, utilities, and structures.
• Order parts and supplies as needed to ensure continued operations.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and local building and safety regulations. Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Actively support and promote the company's safety and quality programs, in alignment with the responsibilities of this role.
