Maintenance Technician

Requirements:

• Degree: HS Diploma/GED and HVAC and/or Electrical, Engineering certifications preferred
• Years of Exp: 3+ years of hands-on experience with HVAC
• Industry Exp: Any GMP industry-MUST BE COMMERCIAL MANUFACTURING, not residential maintenance
• Skills: 3+ years of experience with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment/tools
• Additional: Need to be able to fully-gown up when working in a clean room

Position Summary: Location: Rochester, MN 55905 Pay: 30-35/hr depending on experience with equity and relocation assistance Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Duration: Direct Hire, permanent employment

Position Description:

• This will primarily be a building/utility maintenance role in which this person will be performing preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. This will include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment/tools work. Eventually, they might also assist with manufacturing equipment maintenance in 2025 after production has been completed.
• Will need this person to be permanently on-site from day one of their start date
• Perform preventative, routine, and non-routine maintenance on facility equipment.
• Arrange certification and qualification activities with third party contractors in line with production schedules.
• Escort external contractors and suppliers on site during certifications and qualifications.
• Document all work on validated systems including equipment logs, readings, and alarm investigations to meet the requirements of CGMP.
• Order and maintain appropriate spare parts level for production process equipment.
• Participate in investigations for Corrective and Preventative Actions, Deviations, and root cause analysis of equipment.
• Participate in the writing of SOPs, Forms and other documentation associated with the facility.
• Perform qualifications on routine equipment within both the CGMP and Research and Development areas.
