Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician

Maple Grove, MN 55365

Monday - Friday, 1st Shift 10AM to 6:30PM

Pay: $34/HR

Duration: Contract, 6 months - 1 year

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in a scientific field is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of machine repair and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret machine drawings and schematics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment.
  • Address maintenance and repair needs for R&D and PD equipment as necessary.
  • Assist in designing fixtures, machines, and equipment components.
  • Oversee equipment installations and manage contract projects.
  • Identify and implement improvement projects to minimize machine downtime and reduce recurring equipment issues.
  • Update Maintenance Control documents to reflect current equipment maintenance needs, practices, and procedures.
  • Train other Manufacturing Technology Technicians in performing documented maintenance tasks.
