We are currently hiring for a machine operator positions at a pharmaceutical company in Ocean, NJ.

Shift

• 2nd shift (Monday through Friday)
• 3PM-11:30PM
• 12 hour weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday)
• 11AM-11PM OR 11PM-11AM

Position Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring that all processes comply with safety and quality standards. You will play a crucial role in the production of pharmaceutical products, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical production machines, including tablet presses, encapsulators, and packaging equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is set up and running according to specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, documenting results and addressing any deviations from quality standards.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment and procedures.
• Keep accurate records of production data, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree & 0-1 years of experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent & 2-3 years of relevant experience
• GMP experience
