Position: LVN

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Daily Duties:

• Will do daily consults
  • New patients: will take assessments, figure out what meds they are taking, etcc
• Will perform follow ups, on imaging, bloodwork, etc. Foley Cath
• 2 days a week they perform management for current patients on treatment
  • Check in on toxicity and anything that changed or is causing changes from treatment
• 2 days a week they will have 2 Physicians - 1 is very needy and 1 does not require a lot of support
• They will have 2 consults/day and potentially 3 follow-ups
• LVN will function as a primary RN and support the physician
• • Lower volume role
• Prepping records and charts and communicating with the physician
• No administering needs
• Will work with an MA
• Function as a case manager by tracking and ensuring patients get prior work up
• A lot of times radiation patients have chemo/surgery before they can even get radiation so making sure they have everything they need
• Will be responsible for helping patient get all of that completed and tracking that
• Provide clinical support during patient appointments
• Important that they are able to read a patient's history and understand what additional information the doctor might need

Technology/EMR: Will toggle between Epic and Aria but would be helpful for them to already know Epic.

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

LVN license, BLS Certified, EMR Experience

Epic Experience, Experience with High patient load, Medical Oncology or Dialysis Experience
