Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse

Location: Peekskill, NY

Job Summary: We are seeking a full-time (LPN or RN) with a solid clinical background and experience in multiple specialties such as family medicine, women's health, and internal medicine. The ideal candidate will have experience working in outpatient ambulatory settings or clinics, understanding the scope, standards, high volume, and fast-paced environment of such settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Render nursing care to patients within the unit of the Center or authorized community sites, supporting medical care as directed by the medical staff.
  • Interview patients and maintain medical records, including nursing observations, health history, vital signs, vision/hearing tests, and laboratory test results.
  • Perform in-house labs, collect specimens for outside labs, and conduct quality control in accordance with organizational protocols.
  • Complete and update all assigned tasks and logs, and initiate follow-up as necessary.
  • Provide health teaching as indicated by the physician, diagnosis, or patient inquiries, and direct patients to the Registered Nurse when necessary.
  • Collect data on patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or provider, but may not triage or interpret patient clinical data independently.

Qualifications:

  • (LPN or RN) with a solid clinical background.
  • Experience in multiple specialties such as family medicine, women's health, and internal medicine.
  • Strong experience in outpatient ambulatory settings or clinics.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (highly preferred, but not required).
  • Experience working with diverse populations is valuable.

Pay:

  • LPN: 27-33/hr based on experience
  • RN: 40-46/hr based on experience
