We are seeking a professional and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you'll provide nursing care, administer oral medications, assist with health assessments, and maintain paper-based medical records. You will work in a secure, supportive environment with security staff present at all times.
Pay Rate: $26-$28 per hour
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio LPN license.
- Completed medication administration course.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License.
- Ability to work effectively in a correctional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer oral medications and assist with insulin preparation.
- Assist with inmate health assessments and complete paperwork.
- Maintain accurate paper records.
- Perform routine health tasks and distribute supplies.
Working Conditions:
- Secure facility, interaction with inmates, and security staff.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs, sit for long periods, and perform basic nursing tasks.
