Job description

Calling all LPNs and New Grad LPNs!!! Check this out!

We are seeking a professional and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you'll provide nursing care, administer oral medications, assist with health assessments, and maintain paper-based medical records. You will work in a secure, supportive environment with security staff present at all times.

Pay Rate: $26-$28 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Current Ohio LPN license.
  • Completed medication administration course.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License.
  • Ability to work effectively in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer oral medications and assist with insulin preparation.
  • Assist with inmate health assessments and complete paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate paper records.
  • Perform routine health tasks and distribute supplies.

Working Conditions:

  • Secure facility, interaction with inmates, and security staff.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs, sit for long periods, and perform basic nursing tasks.
