Job description

We are looking for LPN's looking to serve their community in a clinical setting, you will be providing medication and nursing assistance in the patient diagnosis, and providing the best medical care to all patients.

We have full-time, part-time and per-diem positions available!


Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Head Nurse with exams, minor procedures, lab tests
  • Accounting for medication dispensed to patients, reporting any deviations to the Head Nurse.
  • Maintains medical charts, medical unit appointment book, daily visit log book.
  • Performs the appropriate nursing follow-up care of patients.
  • Patient follow-up medical and nursing care, including monitoring of urine toxicology.
  • Assists in the performance of admission and physical examinations.
  • Performs any tasks necessary to improve the quality of care, improve patient satisfaction with the medical/nursing care they receive
  • Performs tasks necessary to enhance reimbursement and reduce denials for services rendered.
  • Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, immunizations, vital signs and assists in urine collection.

Qualifications:

  • LPN in NY
  • NPI number, Medicaid and Medicare number required
  • EMR experience
  • Passionate about working with individuals who needed assistance
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!!
