Line Cook

Now Hiring for a Line Cook for a busy Hospital Food Service Department.

Must have WA Food handlers card

Must have 2 years of Line Cook experience in a busy restaurant or catering enviornment

The cooks placed in this role will be preparing meals for both retail and patient care - because of this it is imperative that understand that is a fast paced environment. Cooks can expect to prepare upwards of 300+ meals in a given 8 hour shift. Because some of the meals are prepared for the patient demographic - these cooks will have to adhere to strict dietary guidelines when preparing dishes. Responsibilities include Serving on the line for the café, and making some make to order food, and working patient line with a ticket system. Examples of meals prepared includes burgers, sandwiches, chicken, salad, ect (casual dining).

Location: Puyallup, WA

Pay: $21-27/hr

Thurs- Mon, Variable Shift (Mornings and Afternoons, Start Times between 5a-12p)
