Overview

The Florida team is looking for a commissions and licensing specialist. The biggest items here are needing life insurance and annuity experience, and/or commission or accounting understanding.

This position will provide daily support to activities related to Producers including Appointment, Commissions, and other maintenance activities. Role will specialize in complex transactions as well as support the collection processes for debit activities. In addition, will also provide support to peers within the department for more complex transactions.

Qualifications

  • Life Insurance and Annuity Experience
  • 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Business and accounting knowledge.
  • Successfully complete all educational/certification requirements for this position. Loma 280/281 & 290/291 courses must be completed within first two years of employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review all new contracting packets received via Email, SuranceBay or Sircon PX daily and validate systems are updated properly for Producers and agencies.
  • Verify all documents are in good order, if not request what is needed via email from the agency that submitted the new contracting.
  • Create new agent and/or agency record in SIRCON system.
  • Ensure contact information and agreement are keyed accurately in Sircon and the background is requested.
  • Support all New Business requests for appointment activities and follow up on outstanding requirements.
  • Review and Process hierarchy changes and transfer requests.
  • Review and Process Principal or Agency change ensuring that we received all relevant documents.
  • Process Producer termination requests either manually or through the Bulk termination program via Sircon PX.
  • Provide support for Producer phone calls and queries as well as any online chat opportunities.
  • Support the review and follow up on both regular mail as well as e-mail requests.
  • Provide support for daily and monthly commission activities and assist in the collection process on outstanding debit balances.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Life Insurance and Annuity Experience
  • 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Business and accounting knowledge.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic office equipment such as: "EMR '' (electronic medical record system) NextGen, computer, internet, email, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
