- Responsibilities:
- The role involves ensuring a safe and professional healthcare environment to optimize patient care, including gathering and analyzing data on patients' mental health and social issues. Responsibilities include conducting intake and diagnostic assessments, developing collaborative treatment plans, and managing a caseload with individual, group, and family therapy while providing crisis intervention as needed. The role requires coordinating with external providers for evaluations, following up with patients who miss appointments, and maintaining professional relationships with mental health and social service contacts. Additionally, the position demands professional interaction with staff and community agencies and meeting a daily service goal of nine patients.
- Requirements and important qualities:
- They are seeking LMSWs, LCSW, LMHC and LMFT. The candidate must licensed in New York State.
- The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling and supportive services for a diverse population experiencing persistent and chronic mental illness. Therefore, the qualified candidates must have a minimum of one-year experience working in an outpatient behavioral health clinic, the ability to develop a patient centered treatment plan and have knowledge to address social determinants of health. Candidates must have excellent organization skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently, excellent written and oral communication skills.
- LMSWs can earn clinical hours toward their LCSW in this position.
- Their goal is to increase their patient volume overall. It is huge that the candidate is very professional. The caseload will be around 120.

- Shift / hours: Monday - Friday 9-5 (2 days on site - 3 days at home)
