Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide skilled nursing care to patients in one of the above specialty settings. LPN's perform approved Medical Center procedures that are described in the Licensed Practical Nurse Act, Vocational Nurse VA Qualification Standards. The LPN demonstrates increasingly more independence in his/her management of patient care and demonstrates competence in caring for adult psychiatric, medical, or geriatric patients. Under the supervision of the nurse manager, the LPN works closely with others as needed in the Specialty Clinics and Primary Care setting throughout the hospital/clinics. The LPN functions both dependently and independently with
guidance and direction from the Nurse Manager/designee.
Qualifications:
  • LPN License
  • BLS
  • ACLS 2+ years of LPN experience
