Position Overview:
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about patient care and possesses a strong commitment to excellence in healthcare. The LPN will play a crucial role in our healthcare team by providing essential nursing care and support to our patients. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments and document patient status, changes, and progress in the electronic health record (EHR).
Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Education: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care.
Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage, timing, and patient education.
Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining and improving the quality of care provided by participating in quality assurance activities.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, including code situations, and provide assistance as needed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, following all legal and ethical standards.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and state nursing regulations.
