Job Description
The Licensed Mental Health Professional is an independently licensed clinician with LCSW licensure in Tennessee. This role involves conducting psychosocial assessments, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care within an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Conduct behavioral health screenings and diagnostic assessments utilizing the DSM.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., problem-solving treatment, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing).
Develop, document, and monitor individualized treatment and discharge plans.
Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
Facilitate family sessions to support patient recovery and discharge planning.
Participate in daily rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Collaborate with institutional and community stakeholders to support patient care goals.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
Active LCSW licensure in Tennessee (LMSW candidates will be considered).
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or behavioral health settings.
Experience with diverse psychiatric populations, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders.
Inpatient psychiatric experience and/or expertise with specialized populations (e.g., geropsych, co-occurring disorders, pediatric, young adult) preferred.

Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
