Job Description

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

  • Provide 30-minute psychotherapy sessions for 14 clients, with each client seen every few days.
  • Conduct up to 7 sessions per day for LCSWs.
  • Offer 60-minute psychotherapy sessions for clients in crisis, particularly those dealing with housing, food insecurity, or substance abuse. This will be necessary for some clients, but not daily for all.
  • Facilitate family therapy to help patients rebuild relationships and understanding with family members.
  • Lead group therapy sessions with patients on-site while participating remotely. The group therapy sessions will begin with an activity, followed by therapy discussions.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

  • LCSW or LPC license in the state of Virginia is required.
  • Experience working with both adults and adolescents.
  • Proven therapy experience.
  • Ability to develop Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
  • Skilled in writing progress notes.
  • NPI number required.
  • Trauma certification preferred.
  • Specific psychotherapy training or certifications preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly demanding, fast-paced field.
  • Empathy and emotional strength to work with clients facing complex challenges.
