Job Posting: Charge Nurse - Hematology/Oncology
Responsibilities:
As a Charge Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include planning, directing, and evaluating overall nursing care and functions within our dynamic healthcare environment. You will take the lead in coordinating unit activities, working collaboratively with nurses and pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless and high-quality patient care. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing and monitoring patient care, and you will be prepared to institute emergency procedures when necessary.
In addition to your clinical duties, you will serve as a key liaison between healthcare providers, patients, and support staff. Your leadership skills will be put to use as you organize and assign work, ensuring a cohesive and efficient workflow. The role extends to managing schedules, reporting, and collaborating with pharmacy technicians to optimize the infusion room experience.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with appropriate state license
Certification of OCN required within two years of employment
Current CPR certification required
Valid driver's license in the resident state to travel to clinics
