Job description

We are looking for an experienced Labeling Tech to join and worldwide diagnostics company. This is a great opportunity to grow in your career!

  • Pay: $18hr
  • Shift: 4 10's - M-Th, 6a-4:30p
  • 6+ month contract to potential hire

Position Summary: Responsible for all production specific to the Label Application work areas in compliance with GMPs and company's policies and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs and documents line clearances before each operation. Performs reconciliations and reports discrepancies immediately to Supervisor.
  • Generates labels for accountability boxes, performs daily cleaning of equipment.
  • Inspects bottled components and labels for defects.
  • Assures that all Batch Records are accurately completed.
  • Follows safety policies and procedures and ensures that all safety equipment is properly maintained.
  • Understands impact of errors: delays in product testing, production, customer complaints or service level required by the customer; knowledge of defects and errors likely to be in non-conforming components/kits and how to prevent them.
  • Practices Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while performing duties.
  • Maintains all working areas in a clean and orderly state. Assures that products are stored, segregated and clearly labeled.
  • Disposes of damaged, rejected or residual components according to SOPs.
  • Reports product complaints (both internal and external) promptly.
  • Identifies quality problems to Supervisor and recommends solutions.
  • Follows all company environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines, and conducts work in a safe manner.

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; B.S. in Life Sciences preferred.
  • Previous experience in the diagnostics/pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of labeling equipment and knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, and batch records preferred.
