Lab Technician
Job description
Medix is hiring for a Lab Technician in the Chesterfield area! Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision and patient care? Join our dynamic team as a Lab Tech/Phlebotomist!
What you'll do:
- Process patient information and manage specimen workflow with accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment, including performing quality control, calibrations, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with data entry, answer phones, and resolve client inquiries.
- Conduct blood tests using advanced lab machines and prepare specimens for third-party labs.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure critical lab results are communicated promptly.
- Work with a team that values collaboration, flexibility, and a positive workplace culture.
