Antigen Lab Technician

Denver/Lowry 80230

Full-Time Position: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, rotating day off.

Position Purpose: As an Antigen Lab Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in preparing antigens for patient testing and treatment. Under the guidance of our Antigen Lab Supervisor, you'll contribute to our mission of providing high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients with allergies, asthma, and immunology-related conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patient immunotherapy treatment sets with precision and care.
  • Maintain and organize antigen skin test trays to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Manage inventory for stock antigen, ensuring adequate supplies for patient care.
  • Adhere to waste disposal policies to uphold environmental and safety standards.
  • Utilize computer-based programs to accurately prepare antigen recipes.
  • Maintain a sterile and clean environment in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Perform proficiency quizzes and media tests to ensure quality control.
  • Foster a professional and positive atmosphere while collaborating with colleagues.
  • Assist physicians, staff, and vendors by providing information on immunotherapy policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to perform Medical Assistant/Clinic Assistant III duties, including administering and managing immunotherapy as needed.
  • Uphold a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, COVID, and National Lab regulations at all times.
  • Adapt to evolving responsibilities based on organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant School or equivalent experience and education.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in the role's responsibilities.
  • Commitment to upholding OSHA, HIPAA, COVID, and National Lab compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional accuracy in mathematical calculations.
