Lab Specimen Processor

Job Description:

• The Lab Specimen Processors will be helping with the receiving of specimens (blood, urine, and saliva swabs) being shipped to the facility as well as sorting them and opening specimen bags. They will check test labels to make sure it matched what the clinic or facility needs and input the patient information into the system. They will also help load samples into test tubes and rack them to prepare for testing. They will rotate through each of these stations every hour or two to make sure they aren't doing the same movements all day and also to keep them more engaged and not on the same task all day.

3-5 Must Have Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from foreign country
• Good tenure at previous jobs- preferably 6 months minimum

Nice To Have Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Data entry
• Previous lab experience

Soft Skills:

• Collaborative
• Team Player
• Ability to keep up in a fast paced environment

Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday 6:30am - 3pm and Saturday from 9am - 5:30pm
