Location: Germantown, MD

We are currently hiring for an assembler position at a manufacturing organization in Germantown, MD.

Shift time (2nd shift)

  • Monday - Friday
    • 3:30pm-12am

Pay rate:

  • $20.99/hr

Position Title: Assembler

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Technician - Assembly is responsible for executing manual assembly and production tasks in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned assembly tasks while adhering to SOPs and ensuring accurate completion of production documentation.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate production equipment within the assembly area to ensure smooth operation.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality throughout the assembly process.
  • Support the setup and preparation of production materials, including counting and verification.
  • Contribute to cross-functional process improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Support departmental and corporate goals by actively participating in team initiatives.

Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with FDA and cGMP regulations preferred.
  • Proficiency in using general and automated production equipment.ms.
  • Capable of independently resolving production issues.
  • Effective communication skills to report issues to supervisors.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic mathematical skills required.
