Responsibilities:

• File inventory in an Excel-based system (majority of responsibility).
• Coordinate with production employees to move parts and determine the best configuration for additional inventory.
• Assist in moving parts with other material handlers as needed on the floor.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of inventory.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work a 6-month contract.
• Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and use pivot tables.
• Ability to assist in lifting and moving parts and inventory on the floor.
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of best practices in inventory organization; knowledge of Kanban is a major plus.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong ability to work with production employees and collaborate with other members of the material handling and purchasing team.
