Job description

Position Summary:

The Inventory and Store Room Specialist is tasked with maintaining the organization's inventory integrity by overseeing ERP transactions, conducting audits, tracking inventory, and managing the MRO and Consumables Store room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generates necessary inventory reports.
  • Records daily receipts and shipments accurately.
  • Manages and updates inventory systems as necessary.
  • Conducts frequent spot audits and assists in annual physical inventory audits.
  • Operates forklift truck as needed.
  • Assists with Shipping and Warehouse tasks when required.

Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of basic inventory control procedures.
  • Proficient in keyboarding.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience required.
  • Preference for a degree in Business, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficiency in computerized inventory systems.
