Insurance Verification Specialist

Job description

Verifying patient insurance benefits for government and commercial payors.

Metrics:

  • 23-30+ initiations per day
  • Referrals are touched daily (return of authorization and etc), they receive a productivity report on this with the critical documentation (if it was not documented, it did not happen)

EMR: Epic

Equipment:

  • Need own laptop and monitor
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of experience
  • Remote work experience
  • Hospital, Physician or Pharmacy experience
  • Insurance verification/Authorizations experience
  • Government and Commercial Insurance experience
  • EPIC experience

Soft Skills:

  • Great communication skills (communicate clearly, efficiently and etc)
  • Professional and well mannered
  • Correct grammar and written skills

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
  • Flexible hours once out of training
  • No weekends
  • No overtime, potentially once convert over to FTE

800 hour probationary period with Medix, then conversion over to client company FTE
