• $21.00 - $25.00 an hour (Based on experience)

Job Summary:
The Insurance Verification Specialist will obtain detailed verification and benefits for in-office
appointments. As a key team member, they will ensure patient billing information is accurate and
any referrals are obtained with the main objective of minimizing controllable denials and
maximizing the clean claim rate.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Verify eligibility and benefits for office visits to include in office procedures and testing.
• Strong knowledge of payer and payer websites.
• Ensure patient insurance is accurate for billing.
• Document and upkeep benefit information in patient account to ensure appropriate collection.
• Contact the patient if insurance information is not valid.
• Recheck schedules for any add-on.
• Monitor eligibility check status in practice management system.
• Coordinate any issues with schedulers or front desk.
• Resource for patient benefit questions.

Experience and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in insurance verification.
• Ability to work effectively and independently.
• Works as a team player and assists as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete work in a timely manner.
• eCW knowledge a plus.

Work Environment: This position is going to be FULLY on site to start. Opportunity to earn work from home days based on performance (I.e. Fridays)

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
