Job description

Medix is excited to partner with a leading hospital system in the Memorial City area to hire Insurance Follow-Up Representatives for their government collections team. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration, giving you flexibility while contributing to a top-tier healthcare organization.

We're looking for candidates with 3+ years of insurance follow-up experience and expertise in Epic, specifically to manage government accounts (Medicare/Medicaid). If you're detail-oriented, experienced, and ready to take the next step in your career, APPLY TODAY!

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve payer issues and review accounts for errors, adjustments, and credits.
  • Respond to inquiries and document account actions.
  • Mentor less experienced staff and assist in training.
  • Maintain compliance with Memorial Hermann's policies and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in healthcare billing/collections (government & commercial payers).
  • Strong Epic experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $20-21/ hr (based on experience)
